I'm totally stealing this idea. Why hire a plumber?

Well okay, I'll start. We're wondering if there's a way to do a scaled-down version of the usual door-to-door festivities. Costumes and candy outdoors with a few neighbours and friends. To give some semblance of normalcy without having to Purell every 15 seconds.

I'm not doing anything and seeing if there's any fallout from my 6 and 8yo. Cruel?

Impressive if you can pull that off! I can't see there being no fallout.

I am organizing a hell night with my kids. The good stuff like soaping cars and playing Nikky-Nikky Nine doors. Time to take back the streets!

Side note- the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark movie was way better than I thought it was going to be. Can't go wrong there if your kids are looking for a spooky movie.

I feel terrible for the kids! Halloween is the best. Hopefully they can still wear costumes to school/ daycare/ over Zoom and eat way too much candy.

For sure they'll eat too much candy. If the grownups don't beat them to it.

Now that G is 13, we will probably eat candy watch scary movies! But we really miss the neighbours -- it's such a wonderful annual tradition.

Mine you Hallowe'en is kind of perfect for a pandemic, don't you think? Invisible threats, being playful with ideas of death while trying to scare each other out of our wits...

Not to mention masks and an abundance of doctor/nurse/patient costumes!
